Sound healing is one of humanity’s oldest alternative therapeutic practices. From Tibetan monasteries, Nada Indian Philosophy to Indigenous ceremonies and cultures, we have long understood that sound is not merely heard; it is felt, in the body, in the cells, in the space between thoughts.
At Anantaram, we work with Tibetan singing bowls, chimes and other resonant instruments to create immersive soundscapes that guide the body into a state of deep rest and repair. In the deeper brainwave states the nervous system begins to regulate, release tension, spark creativity, process emotions and a profound sense of stillness arises naturally. With continued healing, one can guide the brain away from agitated Beta waves to Delta waves, the slowest brainwave state that not only calms the mind but also restores the body.
WHAT TO EXPECT
You will be invited to lie down in a comfortable position, eyes closed. Our Healer will then move through a carefully curated sequence of instruments, allowing the vibrations to wash over and through you. There is nothing you need to do: only receive.
Sessions typically include:
- A brief grounding meditation and breathwork to settle the mind
- An immersive sound journey of about 45 minutes
- A gentle closing and space for integration
- Time for sharing or reflection, if desired
- Yoga Nidra, if the client is going through issues with regard to sleep
Many people experience deep relaxation, emotional release, vivid imagery, or simply a quality of rest they haven’t felt in a long time. Every experience is unique and valid.
